Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a neurosurgeon to join the Wheat Ridge clinic and perform surgeries at Lutheran Hospital. The role supports building a Neuroscience Center of Excellence with a broad continuum of care for brain and spine patients.

Offers a base salary of $875,000 plus a wRVU incentive, a $25,000 sign-on bonus, relocation up to $20,000, and a comprehensive benefits package. Expected schedule is M-F with 1:4 on-call.

Qualifications

• MD/DO education and board eligibility or certification are required.
• Current, unrestricted CO license or ability to obtain it is required.
• Board Certification or Eligibility by the American Board of Neurological Surgery is required.
• Trained in both brain and spine surgeries.

• Perform neurosurgical procedures at Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO.
• Help build a Neuroscience Center of Excellence within Intermountain Health.
• Engage in a 5-day work week (Mon-Fri) with 1:4 on-call responsibilities.

About this role

You will be a part of creating a Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Medical Center where you will help build on an already solid foundation of a broad continuum of care for brain and spine patients. Here are just some of the highlights you can expect:

• You would practice at our Wheat Ridge clinic and perform surgeries at our beautiful, new Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO
• This is a 5 day work week M-F with 1:4 call
• Your practice would consist of ~30% cranial and 70% spine cases
• Designated Neuro Critical Care unit and epilepsy monitoring unit with a strong nursing staff
• Growing Primary Care referral base within Intermountain Health Medical Group

Compensation

Our competitive compensation consists of a base salary of $875,000 plus a wRVU incentive. We are also offering a $25,000 sign on bonus. A relocation bonus of up to $20,000 is also available if applicable.
