Covalent Recruiting is seeking a Neuroscientist to join a fast-growing AI-for-biology company. You’ll analyze data from organoids, iPSC models, and AI-driven analyses rather than conducting experiments, and you’ll help define what counts as expert data.

This is a remote-friendly role with flexible hours and a fast hiring process. US work authorization is required to apply.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD/MD-PhD and experience integrating multi-modal data and AI tools to validate results.

Formación

• PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience.
• Experience analyzing multi-modal data across at least two modalities (ephys, imaging, EEG, omics, behavior).
• Proficient with AI tools for neuroscience analyses and skeptical validation of AI outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze data from organoids, iPSC models, and AI-driven analyses.
• Evaluate AI model outputs to translate mouse results to humans.
• Collaborate to define what constitutes 'expert' data and datasets.

AI can recite a neuroscience textbook, but it can’t yet tell when a mouse result will flop in humans. You can! You know the biology behind every model system, from organoids to NHP. You’d rather analyze data than run experiments. And you have opinions about other people’s datasets.

Our client, a fast-growing AI-for-biology company, needs a Neuroscientist to put AI’s reasoning to the test and decide what “expert” actually looks like.

You might be a fit if you:

• Have a PhD or MD/PhD in neuroscience
• Have wrangled raw data in 2+ modalities (ephys, imaging, EEG, omics, behavior…)
• Know iPSC neurons or brain organoids, and when they translate and when they don’t
• Use AI tools daily, and enjoy proving them wrong
