The Unit Coordinator will be responsible for: Principles Duties and Responsibilities: • Responsible for ensuring that the patientand family members are attended to in a caring and attentive manner. • Respond to the needs of the patient/family members in a timely manner and always maintains a professional and friendly demeanor . • Work cohesively as a member of the Patient Care Team and will take a proactive role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the unit. • Responsible for greeting all patients and families and providing a complete unit orientation and responding to initial questions from family member and patients. To qualify you must have: - Associate’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma or equivalent required. However, a student with appropriate judgement and other qualifications (ability to complete job functions, etc) can be considered for this position with appropriate review and approval. - 1-2 years of experience in medical, customer service setting preferred, but not required. - Knowledge of Medical Terminology - Computer knowledge in windows-based environment strongly preferred. - Demonstrated customer service skillsAdditional Job Details (if applicable)
