Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Neuroscience Sales Specialist to achieve sales goals in the Austin, TX territory. You will build relationships with HCPs, deliver compliant product education, and drive patient access.

Strong neuroscience expertise, knowledge of the local health care landscape, and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential. This role requires travel and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; life sciences preferred.
• 3 years of sales experience, with at least 1 year in pharmaceutical/healthcare sales; neuroscience preferred.
• Senior/Executive levels require 8+ years (Sr Specialist) or 12+ years (Executive) in healthcare sales.

Responsibilities

• Promote Acadia products to HCPs in person and virtually with compliant education.
• Develop and execute a territory business plan to meet sales objectives.
• Establish and maintain relationships with HCPs, KOLs, and advocacy groups.
• Address questions and objections using advanced dialogue and selling skills.
• Tailor sales aids and brand resources to customer needs.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver coordinated solutions.
• Guide on pricing, reimbursement, and distribution channels.
• Accurately track sales activities and expenses.
• Represent Acadia at conferences, exhibits, and trainings.
• Mentor and train new sales specialists.
