Job summary

Qualifications

• Board certified nursing program completed.
• Current LA RN licensure.
• BLS certification required upon hire; ACLS encouraged; EKG knowledge encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical activities for Medical/Surgical patients.
• Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and unit staff.
• Ensure compliance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Support the goals of the department and hospital.
