Children’s National Hospital’s Center for Neuroscience Research in Washington, DC seeks a Staff Scientist to support NIH-funded projects with electrophysiology and imaging. The role focuses on ex vivo/in vivo electrophysiology, fiber photometry and miniscope imaging in animal models, and contributing to data analyses. Requirements include a Ph.D.

or M.D. (or Master’s with relevant experience) and 2–4 years post-doctoral work, plus skills in sequencing, bioinformatics, and molecular genetics.

Competenze

• Experience in next-generation sequencing, bioinformatics, and molecular genetics.
• At least two to four years of progressive post-doctoral experience.
• Training technical staff, students, fellows and physicians; assisting the PI with grants and publications.
