Responsibilities

• Conduct research to develop methodologies and procedures for medical applications, analyzing data and presenting findings.
• Design and conduct complex clinical research studies evaluating methods, modeling, diagnosis and treatment.
• Plan and direct studies on human or animal disease, preventive methods, and treatments.
• May assist in clinical laboratory operations.
• Teach medical and lab procedures to physicians, residents, students, and staff.
• Collaborate with health departments and industry to develop health safety standards.
• Develop research tools and techniques and communicate results to the scientific community.
