Job summary

Inova Neuroscience Research is seeking a Neuroscience Postdoctoral Research Fellow for a full-time role structured as 30 hours per week, based in Falls Church, VA. The incumbent will engage in advanced neuroscience research, contribute to seminars, and collaborate on grant proposals under mentorship.

Responsibilities include developing publications, presenting findings, and supporting grant applications while advancing career planning and professional development in a collaborative lab

Qualifications

• Education: MD, PhD or equivalent degree.
• Experience: 1 year of human, translational and basic research-oriented experience.
• Certification: BLS for MD candidates only.

Responsibilities

• Participates in workshops such as developing grant applications and preparing research publications.
• Gives presentations at meetings, conferences and seminars.
• Conducts semi-independent research under mentorship and with collaborators.
• Assists in preparing analytical methods/results for publication and presentations.
• Contributes to grant applications for service line projects.
• Meets regularly with mentor and advisors to discuss progress and resolve difficulties.
