Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (NSICU) in Kansas City. The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, night shifts, with a supportive leadership team and nursing assistants to assist intensivists and NPs.

Ideal candidates will have less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience, current RN licensure, and a Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Less than 1 year of applicable nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan and provide patient care.
• Delegate patient care tasks and supervise other patient care staff.
• Coordinate the care plan for assigned patients in collaboration with the health care team.
• Demonstrate proficiency and adherence to policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
