Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital in Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Neuroscience/Neurosurgical Unit. You will administer patient care in a high-performing team, focusing on complex neurological patients and collaboration with top-tier surgeons.

The role involves a 2x12s night schedule, weekend rotation every 3rd weekend, and opportunities for ongoing education and specialty training within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Alabama RN license or valid eNLC multistate RN license.
• Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS may be required for certain areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop/revise individualized care plans.
• Respect patient and family diversity; build respectful relationships with team and customers.
• Serve as patient and family advocate and provide age-appropriate care.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to team members as appropriate.
• Document care accurately meeting regulatory standards.
• Support education and performance improvement within the unit and nursing leadership.
