Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and breeds transgenic and knockout mouse lines (PCR/genotyping).
• Performs in vivo experiments including behavioral assays and routine mouse handling.
• Performs euthanasia, brain extractions, and downstream molecular analyses (RNA/protein).
• Perfuses mice for brain fixation and histology.
• Supports basic cell culture activities as needed.
• Manages lab operations: pipette calibration, inventory, waste disposal, biosafety compliance.
• Trains new personnel and coordinates daily experimental schedules.
• Collects and analyzes data; reports progress to supervisor.
