Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related scientific field.
• Two years of research experience; master's may offset.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• C. elegans maintenance, generation, and experiments.
• Design and execute neuroscience studies under PI supervision.
• Maintain worm lines with sterile technique.
• Generate novel C. elegans strains by injecting extrachromosomal arrays into gonads.
• Conduct cloning to augment plasmids for arrays.
• Perform behavioral assays and analyze results.
• Document procedures and data in lab notebooks.
• Attend and lead lab meetings; contribute to project direction.
• Mentor and support undergraduate researchers.
