Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our IR team for a 15-week assignment. The candidate must have Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience, a state technician license, and 2+ years in radiology, with BLS and AART certifications.

Comfort with patient interaction and strict safety practices is required. This role involves 4x10 hour shifts (10-hour days), possible weekends and on-call duties 1–2 times per week, and requires proficiency with CR/DR

Qualifications

• Must have Neurosurgery/Neuroscience experience.
• Minimum 2 years radiology technologist experience.
• Licensed as Radiology Technician (State specific) and BLS/AART certified.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Administer oral contrast as needed for exams.
• Instruct and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures while assisting the Radiologist.
• Collaborate with department staff to resolve issues and ensure timely procedures.
• Report equipment malfunctions to management and maintain a clean, safe work area.
