Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking a Neuroscience Specialist to engage healthcare professionals across in-person, virtual, and digital platforms, delivering expert insights on on-label information and approved conditions.

The role reports to the Area Business Lead and collaborates with Medical, Market Access, and Patient Support teams to enhance local care delivery and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience, or 3+ years of B2B/outside sales in regulated/clinical settings, or 2+ years clinical healthcare with patient-facing responsibilities.
• Ability to convey complex clinical information clearly and ethically within regulatory guidelines.
• Willingness to reside within commutable distance of the primary city in the sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) via in-person, virtual, and digital tools.
• Direct customers to colleagues (e.g., CSS) as needed and gather feedback on engagement quality.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups with regional leaders.
• Elevate opportunities and feedback to the Area Business Lead to inform local strategy.
