SUNY Upstate Medical University’s Brain and Behavior Program, part of the Neuropsychology Assessment Program (NAP), seeks a psychologist to provide specialized care within a collaborative academic medical center.

The Psychologist will work with a team of neuropsychologists to conduct evaluations, psychotherapy, and consultations for patients with FND and neurology-related conditions, and will engage in teaching, administration, and research initiatives.

Competenze

• PhD or PsyD in Psychology.
• New York State Psychology license or eligibility.
• Must possess NYS license at time of employment.

Mansioni

• Provide psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.
• Deliver psychotherapy to patients with FND and other neurological conditions.
• Provide consultation and collaborate with Neurology, Rehabilitation and Neurosurgery teams.
• Participate in educational, administrative, and research initiatives.

Experience with neurological patients

Psychotherapy experience

Formazione

PhD or PsyD in Psychology

New York State Psychology license or eligibility

APA- or CPA-accredited predoctoral internship

Specialization in Health Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, or Neuropsychology
