Overview

The Neuropsychologist I will provide neuropsychological assessments and, as needed, consultation and psychological treatment services to clients served by the Center for Autism Services, Science, and Innovation (CASSI). Primary responsibilities include assessments for patients ages 2 years through young adult.

Responsibilities
  1. Select, administer, and score psychological and neuropsychological tests to assess various functions.
  2. Interpret assessment results based on current research and evidence-based approaches.
  3. Write comprehensive neuropsychological assessment reports with diagnostic interpretations and management plans.
  4. Participate in weekly case conferences and interdisciplinary meetings.
  5. Provide interpretative information to parents and caregivers; may offer short-term counseling.
  6. Conduct intake interviews and document results.
  7. Assist in developing clinical initiatives with departmental leadership.
  8. Enter assessment results and reports into relevant systems and databases.
  9. Maintain productivity and documentation standards.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited institution.
  • Completion of APA/CPA-accredited pre-doctoral internship with supervised neuropsychology experience.
  • Two-year postdoctoral residency in clinical neuropsychology.

Experience:

  • Minimum of two years working with children with intellectual/developmental disabilities, including through postdoctoral training.
Additional Details

Minimum pay range: USD $112,320.00/year

Maximum pay range: USD $153,072.67/year
