Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada, seeks a neuropsychologist focused on neurological diseases (Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, MS) to join our outpatient team with strong testing support and access to trainees. You will conduct assessments, provide feedback, and collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, and imaging experts.

Opportunities to supervise practicum students and contribute to HABIT program exist.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree from an APA- or CPA-accredited program in clinical psychology.
• Postdoctoral fellowship with specialization in clinical neuropsychology.
• Experience with neurodegenerative conditions preferred.
• Eligibility for licensure in Nevada is essential, with the expectation of pursuing or attaining board certification in clinical neuropsychology.
• Significant institutional support for those pursuing board certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological assessments with the assistance of a technician or advanced trainee, including record review, clinical interview, test administration, and report writing.
• Provide feedback to patients, families, and referring providers.
• Participate in educational and training activities, including opportunities to supervise practicum students from a clinical psychology doctoral program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
• Potential involvement in program development, working with professional athletes, and clinical intervention services (including HABIT program for individuals with mild cognitive impairment and their care partners).
• Engage in ongoing center-wide research in collaboration with neuroimaging researchers and access to observational cohort data.

Overview

Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute announces a search for a neuropsychologist with specific interest and experience in neurological diseases including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis. This position will join the staff of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will have full testing support from psychometricians (including a bilingual Spanish-speaking psychometrist) and/or trainees. The neuropsychologist will interact with neurologists, psychiatrists, health psychologists, neurorehabilitation therapists, and brain imaging experts in an outpatient setting.
