Job summary

Oceanside Community Services, LLP in Southern Maine seeks a detail-oriented Psychometrician to support neuropsychological and psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults. The role administers and scores standardized assessments, records behavioral observations, and scores data for interpretation by psychologists.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, behavioral health, education, or related field.
• Relevant academic, research, behavioral health, or assessment experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent observational, writing, and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building abilities.
• Professional, compassionate, and patient-focused communication.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and accept clinical supervision.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and common computer applications.
• Ability to learn testing, scoring, and electronic health record systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle copyrighted assessment materials appropriately.
• Ability to satisfy required background checks and employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Administer and score neuropsychological and psychological tests under supervision.
• Record clinical behavioral observations and score test protocols.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support assessments.
• Contribute to accurate documentation for clinical interpretation.
• Provide a calm environment to facilitate valid assessments.
• Work-from-home flexibility for focused scoring and documentation tasks.
