Join to apply for the Neurophysiology Technologist I, Per Diem role at University Hospital.

The primary purpose of the Neurophysiology Technologist I position is to conduct Electroencephalogram (EEG), Video EEG Monitoring, Ambulatory EEG Monitoring, and Evoked Potential examinations. The role involves learning to perform other Neurophysiology tests such as TCD, NCS, and Intra-Operative Monitoring. The candidate must have the education, training, and/or expertise required of a Neurophysiology Technologist to meet the needs of patients of all ages (from newborn to maturity).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent GED certification required.
• Completion of a Neurodiagnostic program accredited by The American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists, INC. (ABRET), or a minimum of one (1) year Neurodiagnostic clinical EEG experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
• Weekend or overtime work may be required.
• Possesses the ability, education, training, and experience to meet the needs of all ages (from newborn to maturity).
• Annual Respirator Fit Testing required.
