Job summary

Qualifications

• ENDT program or BS degree; alternatively 5 years EEG technologist experience.
• American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete required paperwork before study and clarify orders.
• Prepare patient and place recording electrodes per protocol.
• Troubleshoot signal quality and notify neurologist of abnormalities.
• Maintain equipment and stock supplies in Neuro Testing Center.
• Document study findings and provide clinician with notes.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education.
• Assist in report typing and file storage as assigned.
