Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Registered Neurophysiology Technologist at Lake Forest Hospital. This full-time role involves performing EEG, evoked potentials, and EMG/NCS with patient preparation, electrode placement, and adherence to established protocols.

The position requires ENDT or BS degree (or 5 years EEG experience), BLS CPR certification, and collaboration with neurologists. On-site hours areMonday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with variable night and weekend call.

Qualifications

• Requires ENDT or BS degree; or 5 years EEG experience in lieu of degree.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Experience with EEG/evoked potentials and EMG/nerve conduction studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for test and place electrodes per protocol.
• Perform EEG/EMG/nerve conduction studies.
• Document findings and enter necessary notes.
• Maintain and stock Neuro Testing Center equipment.
• Collaborate with neurologists and other staff; participate in quality improvement.
