Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician to perform standard electroencephalographic procedures as ordered by the physician.

This role requires weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) on a 3/12 schedule. Candidates should have a GED, at least 6 months of direct patient care experience, and BCLS/CPR upon hire. ABRET registry in one area preferred by BRPT.

Qualifications

• GED required.
• Six months of direct patient care experience or non-patient care healthcare experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support CPR Upon Hire Required and CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Upon Hire Required.
• ABRET registry in one area of neurodiagnostics or BRPT Registered Polysomnographic Tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs standard electroencephalographic procedures on patients as ordered by the physician.
• Weekend shift Friday - Sunday with a 3/12 schedule.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience OR of non- patient care healthcare experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
