MedVet is a fast-growing Emergency and Specialty provider seeking a Neurology Clinical Supervisor in Utah. You’ll oversee a Clinical Services team, handle scheduling, resource management, and collaborate across departments to ensure top-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates have veterinary experience with neurology or related fields, strong drug-calculation skills, and excellent communication. This role includes on-shift leadership, training, and participation in on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must have prior veterinary experience; neurology experience is preferred.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.).
• Flexible with work hours; able to work additional hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager.
• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s).
• Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs.
• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift.
• Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift.
• Assigns team member responsibilities per shift.
• Addresses process or employee issues during their shift.
• Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely.
• Trains and mentors new team members.
• Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations.

We are looking for: Neurology Clinical Supervisor

In Neurology you can expect to be handle a variety of cases and run CT or MRI scans, as well as be involved in advanced neurological treatments and procedures. The skills needed for this department rely heavily on being a team player, compassionate and have a focus on excellent patient care.

What you’ll do:

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager
• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
• Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift
• Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:
• Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
• Assigns team member responsibilities per shift
• Addresses process or employee issues during their shift
• Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
• Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
• Trains and mentors new team members
• Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
• Participates in on-call responsibilities
• Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely

Who you are:

• Prior veterinary experience required, previous neurology experience desired
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
• Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
