Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate NP program - MSN or DNP required.
• 2 years healthcare experience; neuro/stroke preferred.
• CA RN license required.
• NP-F furnishing license required (CA)
• DEA license required.
• BLS required; ACLS or ATLS preferred depending on surgical specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical evaluation and treatment in collaboration with Supervising Physician.
• Document medical records and patient communications.
• Counsel patients on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Inpatient care three shifts per week; outpatient stroke follow-up clinic one shift weekly.
