Job summary

UCLA Health in Westlake Village seeks a Neurologist with board eligibility/certification to join its expanding Community Neurology team. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, collaboration with primary care, and patient-centered care.

This is a 1-year staff contract with a base salary range of $300,000 to $430,000 plus incentives; Quality incentives and productivity models will be set by the medical director.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in Neurology
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care
• Strong collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality neurology patient care within the Community Neurology division
• Coordinate with primary physicians, home health, nursing homes and other staff
• Communicate with patients via portal and phone calls
• Participate in rotating neurology evening and weekend call schedule
• Refill prescriptions as needed and ensure timely access to care
• Coordinate care with providers, specialists, and ancillary services
• Serve as role model for the profession and organization
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and regulatory standards
• Adhere to Department of Public Health and Joint Commission guidelines
