Montefiore Medical Center, the teaching hospital of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, is the location of the Sleep-Wake Disorders Center of the Department of Neurology which was the first Accredited Sleep Disorders Center in the USA. Our mission has always been to diagnose, treat, teach and advance the health of the communities we serve. We take a comprehensive approach to diagnosing and treating patients with sleep disorders, that include sleep related breathing disorders, hypersomnias, circadian rhythm disorders, insomnia and parasomnias. We havea special interest in sleep disoders that have a neurological focus such as narcolepsy and REM sleep behavior disorder. Our staff includes five sleep physicians and has an ACGME approved fellowship program. Our fellowship training program integrates with both the Pulmonary and Pediatrics divisions sleep programs at Montefiore.
The selected candidate will become part of an outstanding team that includes Dr. Michael Thorpy, an international academic leader in Sleep medicine.
In addition to a competitive salary of $300,000-$350,000, we offer the opportunity generous productivity incentives.
