Qualifications

• Active or eligible Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• Neurology or sleep medicine experience is a plus — not required; we invest in training the right candidate
• Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and critical-thinking skills

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: perform comprehensive neurological histories and physical/neurological exams
• Evaluate symptoms related to migraines, neuropathy, seizures, movement disorders, memory loss, and other neurological conditions
• Review and interpret diagnostic studies, including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and sleep studies
• Partner with physicians to reach accurate diagnoses and build effective treatment plans
• Follow-up visits to track progress and refine treatment plans
• Coordinate referrals to subspecialists as needed
• Maintain clear, accurate EMR documentation
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered support to patients and families
