Job summary

MedVet is seeking a Neurology Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Cleveland, OH, to join a fast-growing emergency and specialty team. The role focuses on advanced neurological care, including CT/MRI involvement, with strong emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered service.

The candidate must hold a State Registered Veterinary Technician license, have prior veterinary experience, and demonstrate strong calculations skills and communication.

Qualifications

• State Registered Veterinary Technician license required.
• Prior veterinary experience required; neurology or radiology experience desired.
• Proficient in calculations (drug dosages, CRIs, unit conversions).
• Flexible with work hours; ability to work overtime when needed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures.
• Client communications, scheduling and education over the phone and in person.
• Manage appointments, obtain histories and update patient information.
• Accurate and thorough documentation of medical records.
• Assist with spinal and joint tap procedures, place IV catheters and perform venipuncture.
