Job summary

MedVet seeks a Neurology Veterinary Technician to support advanced neurological treatments, CT/MRI procedures, and a range of clinical duties in a collaborative team environment. You will assist with surgeries, communicate with clients, manage appointments, and document medical records to ensure high-quality patient care.

Experience in veterinary neurology is preferred, with emphasis on compassionate teamwork and accurate record-keeping for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience required.
• Previous neurology experience desired.
• Strong math skills for drug calculations and infusion rates.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures.
• Client communications, scheduling and education over the phone and face to face.
• Manage appointments, obtain histories and updated patient information.
• Accurate and thorough documentation of medical records.
• Assist with spinal and joint tap procedures, and perform venipuncture.
