Job summary

Trinity Health in Hartford, CT is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse (Day Shift) to provide high-level clinical support and patient-centered care within a collaborative care team.

You will perform triage, coordinate follow-up care, assist physicians, prepare patients for procedures, document in the EMR, and educate patients and families. Connecticut RN license is required; neurology experience and 3–5 years RN experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Connecticut RN license required.
• Neurology experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques.
• Perform patient triage, assessment of symptoms, and coordinate follow-up care.
• Support Stroke Neurology and Pain Neurology providers in patient care delivery.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor status, and give post-procedure instructions.
• Document all patient interactions in the EMR and communicate with team.
