Job summary

UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin invites a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our neurology unit. The role involves caring for adult neuro patients, including post-surgical spine procedures, brain tumors, and stroke care, within a 25-bed unit.

You will work with a collaborative interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care. We seek candidates with a BSN preferred, a WI RN license or multi-state compact license, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Six months nursing experience or current participant in UW Health’s Nurse Residency Program.
• Licensed RN in WI or compact state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Care for a variety of medical and surgical adult neuro patients including post-surgical spine surgeries, brain tumors, craniotomy and ophthalmology cases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary stroke professionals to provide comprehensive care.
• Contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a Level IV Epilepsy Center setting.
