Trinity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for a day shift in Albany, Oregon. The position supports neurology patients at St. Peter’s Neurology within St.

Peter’s Health Partners, located at 63 Shaker Road. The role emphasizes nursing assessments, care planning, and patient education in a collaborative setting. The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS, and 6 months RN experience, with a preference for an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• HS Diploma/equivalent required.
• Current unencumbered NYS RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification.
• 6 months previous RN experience.
• Must be able to lift 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Brings patient to exam room, takes vital signs and documents in EMR.
• Review and update medication list in EMR for provider review.
• Complete referrals and tracks patient compliance.
• Review prescriptions and send to providers for submission.
• Obtain patient consent for procedures as directed.
• Perform pre-visit planning and review quality metrics.
• Retrieve telephonic clinical information from patients.
• Monitor task list and complete provider-assigned tasks.
• Educate patients on medication, procedures and home care.
• Ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens.
• Follow up with patient regarding test results per provider.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and disinfect equipment.
• Assist in stocking medical supplies and drug cabinets.
• Use EMR to communicate with team.
• Performs quality assurance duties as assigned.
• Provide a patient-friendly clinical visit summary and educational materials.
• Participate in daily Patient Care huddles.
