Job summary

Banner Health Neurology Clinic in Mesa, AZ is seeking a referral coordinator to manage incoming referrals for neurology and related services. You will coordinate appointments, collect medical records, and liaison with patients, providers, and payors.

The role requires HIPAA knowledge, strong customer service, and proficient office software. You will track referrals, ensure requirements are met, and may travel between Desert and Baywood locations for coverage. Hours are Monday–Friday, day shift.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate referral orders for specialty neurology services and related diagnostics.
• Ensure referral requirements are met prior to appointments and collect medical records.
• Act as liaison between patients, providers, and staff for referral and follow‑up needs.
• Verify coverage, obtain authorization, and communicate with payors and facilities.
• Track referrals at 30/60/90 day intervals and follow up with patients as needed.
• Collaborate with outside referral sources and community resources.
