Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. is seeking an Associate Director, Thought Leader Liaison (TLL) for neurology rare disease.

This senior, field-based role partners with Marketing and Medical Affairs to advance non-sales education, engagement, and market development. You will map regional networks, build relationships with national and regional thought leaders, and support launch readiness and post-approval activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years in biopharma field, including marketing, TLL, market development or related strategic roles.
• Recent experience in rare or neurology, neuromuscular disease, genetics, or diagnostics preferred.
• Ability to operate independently in a field role with pre/post-approval engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional strategy aligned with national priorities.
• Engage thought leaders, center leaders, and professional networks with compliant programs.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Medical Affairs on education and launch readiness.
• Capture aggregate field insights and translate into regional business plans.
• Lead regional advocacy and conference engagement efforts.
• Travel >50% to cover assigned geography and major hubs.
