Job summary

Isaac Health in New York is seeking a board-certified neurologist to lead its national neurology practice. The Head of Neurology serves as the supervising physician for neurology providers, sets clinical standards, and guides patient care strategy across states.

You will protect weekly direct patient care time while supervising, teaching, reviewing, and making clinical decisions. Role demands startup adaptability and cross-state licensure readiness.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted license; ABPN board certified in Neurology.
• Eligible for Interstate Medical Licensure Compact; Letter of Qualification before start date.
• Deep experience with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, including amyloid-targeting therapies.
• Comfortable practicing comprehensive general neurology.
• Demonstrated clinical leadership: supervising providers and mentoring clinicians.
• Experience in telehealth delivery and remote supervision.
• Strong teaching and educational skills.
• Able to work independently in a startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the neurology clinical team with accountability for performance and development.
• Serve as supervising physician for neurology APPs across states.
• Provide same-day clinical support: debriefs, case reviews, decisions shaping patient care.
• Set and uphold neurology clinical standards and scope of practice.
• Own the clinical outcomes of the neurology service line.
• Teach across one-on-one to large group formats.
