Position Overview

Hackensack University Medical Center, recognized nationally in Neurosciences, is seeking a full-time BE/BC Cognitive/Behavioral Neurologist. The candidate should have completed a Neurology residency and a UCNS-accredited fellowship in Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry. Faculty rank at Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patients at risk for dementia, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia.
• Engage in outcomes research, clinical trials, translational research, and teaching medical and graduate students & residents.
• Provide patient-centered care with an interprofessional team including geriatricians, neurologists, psychiatrists, neuro- & health psychologists, social workers, and rehab therapists.
• Contribute to clinical trials and community-based dementia care programs.
