Job Title: Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Experience the fulfilling opportunity to perform General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams in the scenic city of Pensacola, Florida. This practice operates on a PRN basis at leased facilities, providing essential medical evaluations to a grateful community of veterans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct interview-based exams with physical assessments, focusing on General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
• Utilize Goniometers for range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Submit evaluations within 48 hours utilizing the VES provider portal, ensuring no narrative reporting is required.
• Engage in follow-up administrative tasks, including addendums and medical opinions.
• Participate in ongoing training and certification to enhance care quality.
• Be prepared to travel to perform exams as needed.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R, or related specialty.
• Proficient in evaluating and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
• Own a personal laptop (Windows-based) for reporting and evaluations.
• Must be willing to complete DMA training and obtain certification.
• Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardio conditions is required.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license.
• Board certification is mandatory.
• DMA certification completion is required for continued practice.
