We are an established medical practice serving Indianapolis and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. Currently, we are seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, physicians will be compensated.
The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas. Professional Imaging was founded in Houston in March 2005 and has expanded across eastern Texas. Our monthly patient census is approximately 2,300, supported by a staff of 70, including physicians, speech-language pathologists, and support staff.
Benefits and Compensation: Working 4 to 5 days a week, annual income is approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There is no weekend or night call, and malpractice insurance, including tail coverage, is provided by the practice. Over 19 years and more than 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.
Practice Overview: Midwest Dysphagia Consultants provides professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These services are delivered via a mobile unit, as shown on our website.
Our mobile unit allows physicians and speech-language pathologists to conduct evaluations at various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is to have staff home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
