Job summary

VerityMD in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Neurology Physician Assistant to elevate patient care in a clinic setting. You will independently manage your own patient panel while receiving expert physician mentorship in a low-stress environment.

Daily duties include patient evaluations, planning evidence-based care, and follow-up visits for headaches, stroke, seizures, and neuropathy. You will interpret MRI/EEG/EMG results and coordinate care across the health system.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited training program(s).
• Active California PA license (or ability to obtain).
• Board certified.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient PA clinical experience.
• Comfortable working independently with follow-up patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and robust clinical reasoning abilities.
• A fervent commitment to collaborative care and continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations and develop evidence-based care plans.
• Manage follow-up visits for neurological conditions (headache, stroke, seizures, neuropathy).
• Interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, EEG, EMG/NCS) and coordinate care across the continuum.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and patient education initiatives.
