Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's VerityMD seeks a Neurology Physician Assistant to join a patient-centered neurology clinic in the Sacramento area, offering autonomy with expert physician mentorship.

You will evaluate patients, develop and implement care plans for headaches, stroke, seizures, and neuropathies; interpret MRI/EEG/EMG/NCS; and coordinate care while advancing patient education. Requires at least 2 years outpatient PA experience and California licensure; competitive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PA training program.
• Active California PA license (or ability to obtain).
• Board certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Minimum of 2 years outpatient PA experience.
• Ability to work independently with follow-up patients.
• Strong interpersonal skills and clinical reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations and develop care plans.
• Manage follow-up visits for diverse neurological conditions.
• Interpret diagnostic studies (MRI, EEG, EMG/NCS).
• Coordinate care across the healthcare continuum and improve workflows.
• Educate patients and families to enhance the patient experience.
