Job summary
Summa Health Medical Group in Stow, OH is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the team. You will participate with care teams to provide patient-focused care and adapt to daily operations in a medical office environment.
The ideal candidate has a Medical Assistant program graduate background and at least 1 year of related medical office experience. Proficiency with medical terminology, HIPAA, Word/Excel, and EMR is expected.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
- 1 year related medical office experience or externship.
- Knowledge of medical terminology; HIPAA compliance; strong communication.
- Ability to travel between locations within the medical group.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
- Must pass yearly clinical skill competencies.
