Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. The role focuses on providing comprehensive care to patients with neurological disorders—including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and other neurological conditions—while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and non‑pharmacologic interventions.
• Conduct regular follow‑up visits to monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide education and support.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure a multidisciplinary approach.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to accurately diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• One year of experience in Neurology.
• Preferred experience in documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.)—training provided.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand/walk/work on your feet up to 6–8 hours per day.
• Competitive salary per annum: $60,000 – $90,000.
