Job summary

PPE is seeking a Neurology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide coverage for the ICU Neurology rotation at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus. This is a flexible, round-and-go position with a manageable patient census.

One week per month, Monday–Sunday with call coverage until 7:00 PM. Patient census typically 1–5 per day, hourly rate $75–$85, plus an additional daily call stipend.

Qualifications

• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Neurology, neurocritical care, or ICU experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently with team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurological assessment and management of ICU patients.
• Conduct daily patient rounds and monitor clinical progress.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with intensivists, neurologists, nursing staff, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in the medical record.
• Respond to patient needs and provide call coverage until 7:00 PM.
• Support continuity of care and communicate treatment recommendations to the clinical team.
