Sanford Health is seeking a proficient Nurse Practitioner to support neurology patient care across acute and long-term settings. The NP will assist physicians, assess patients, and manage injuries and illnesses with an emphasis on coordination of care and evidence-based practice.

The role requires an NP master's degree, current APRN licensure, and DEA registration. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and potential hospital coverage are included, with a focus on high-quality patient

Qualificações

• Completion of a master’s, postmaster’s, or doctorate from an NP program accredited by a recognized body.
• Current licensure by the applicable state board as an APRN.
• Current DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances.
• Board certification such as AGPCNP-BC, FNP-BC, or similar.
• Maintains required competencies and certifications for the department.

Responsabilidades

• Provide NP services in designated clinical settings by assisting physicians, assessing patients, and treating injuries and ailments.
• Obtain thorough medical histories and conduct examinations as appropriate.
• Analyze patient data to develop diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and hospital policies.
• Maintain comprehensive patient records and coordinate care with other providers.
• Refer to specialists when conditions exceed the NP's scope of practice.
