Job summary

CoxHealth’s Ferrell Duncan Clinic in Springfield, MO, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with a physician in clinical decision-making, case management and patient evaluation. You will provide advanced nursing care, perform examinations, order tests and develop treatment plans. Education: Masters of Nursing or NP certificate; MO NP license required.

Experience preferred but not required. Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Masters of Nursing or NP Certificate required.
• MO License as Nurse Practitioner preferred.
• Experience: No prior experience required, but experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a physician for clinical decision-making, case management and evaluation of performance.
• Provide advanced nursing care, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests.
• Develop treatment plans and prescribe drugs or other therapies.
• Plan and coordinate medicine and health services across hospitals, clinics or similar organizations.
