Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an additional Neurology (Movement Disorder) Advanced Practice Provider to join the Carle Neuroscience Institute in Urbana, Illinois. You will work with an established team of neurologists to evaluate and manage patients in an outpatient setting.

The role offers opportunities to develop procedural skills such as Botox injections and lumbar puncture, with ongoing learning through grand rounds, morbidity and mortality rounds, and regional conferences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
• Current Illinois PA or NP licensure.
• Experience in evaluation and management of neurological disorders preferred but not required.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development and case discussions.

Responsibilities

Opportunity Details

Join an established team of seven other Outpatient Advanced Practice Providers.

Work with collaborating adult general neurologists and a movement disorder subspecialty neurologist.

Experience in evaluation and management of patients with neurological disorders is preferred but not required.

Encouraged to participate in ongoing learning and professional development within Carle Neuroscience Institute, including case discussions, grand rounds, morbidity and mortality rounds, etc. with opportunity to attend regional or national conferences.

Opportunity to develop procedural skills related to neurology, if desired but not required, such as Botox injections, lumbar puncture, vagus nerve stimulator, etc.

Background in neurology (specifically movement disorders) is NOT required.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72 - $78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
