Job summary

The Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) seeks a Medical Spine APP to join Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This inpatient and outpatient APP role serves the neurosurgical patient population and includes a mix of 4 ten-hour shifts across weekdays and weekends.

You will coordinate ongoing patient care in collaboration with physicians, including initial consultations, follow-ups and patient/family education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner is required.
• Current Illinois physician assistant or nurse practitioner licensure is required.
• Excellent clinical skills and ability to function with a high level of autonomy.

Opportunity Details

• Inpatient and Outpatient APP role at Carle Foundation Hospital with the neurosurgical patient population
• Join a growing medical team with 5 Neurosurgeons, 2 Medical Spine physicians, 4 Spine Interventionalists, and 9 dedicated Advanced Practice Providers.
• Flexible scheduling with 4 10-hour shifts, combination of weekdays and weekends
• Coordinate ongoing patient care in collaboration with physicians including initial consultations, follow-ups and provide patient/family education
• Must possess excellent clinical skills and be able to function with high level of autonomy
• Experience with neurological conditions preferred

Compensation And Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $60.72-$78.94/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
