Job summary

The position requires completing a Medical Assistant program or one year of clinical experience, HS diploma, and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program OR one year of clinical experience.
• Obtain BLS within 30 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and obtain initial information and vitals.
• Prepare exam rooms with cleanliness and supplies.
• Assist with and/or perform exams, tests, and procedures.
• Schedule appointments and referrals as needed.
• Assist provider during patient examinations and procedures.
• Educate patients on follow-up expectations.
• Maintain quality control testing logs as required.
• Ensure medical equipment is in proper working condition.
• Assist patients with medical documentation.
• Help with office administrative tasks and deposits as needed.
