Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lees Summit, MO seeks a Medical Assistant for the Neurology clinic. You will assist providers and nursing staff with pre-visit planning, rooming patients, taking vitals, and EMR documentation. The role includes vaccine coordination, injections, telephone screening, and procedure support.

Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA/NRCMA/RMA/CCMA) and BLS are required, with a preferred 1 year of MA experience. Training and coverage across two locations may be involved.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/NRCMA/RMA/CCMA) required.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Pre-visit planning and rooming patients.
• Obtain vitals and document in EMR.
• Administer injections and coordinate vaccines.
• Telephone screening per protocols.
• Assist with procedures as needed.
• Cover front office duties as needed.
