Job summary

Animal Medical Center of Seattle, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Neurology team. This full-time role focuses on anesthesia, advanced imaging, and complex patient care for neurological cases.

You will support neurology specialists, monitor patients, assist with MRI/CT imaging, and educate clients while collaborating with the care team. LVT credential or equivalent experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician preferred; Veterinary Assistants with hospital experience considered.
• Two+ years in a veterinary hospital setting preferred.
• Strong anesthesia skills; neurology experience and imaging are plus.
• Fluent English in speaking and reading.

Responsibilities

• Assist neurologists with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments.
• Monitor and care for patients with neurological disorders.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia with proper records.
• Administer medications and communicate patient status changes promptly.
• Assist with MRI and CT imaging and radiographs per safety regs.
• Perform lab tests like CBC diffs, urinalysis, cytology, and cross-matching.
• Educate owners on treatment plans and home care.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
